The Rare Conjunction Cometh
Jupiter and Uranus conjunct. It happens only once every 13 to 14 years. Since the age of 14 my life has occurred in 7-year phases, often doubled. I’m due for a new phase beginning now.
Jupiter is expansive. Uranus brings the unconventional, unexpected.
For the first time since fateful 1941, this conjunction is in the earthy Sign of Taurus. (A propitious moment to enter foreign territory?) The astrologers tell us that this is one more step along the top diving board that started with the Wolf Moon truth gambit and the splendidly propellant Spring Equinox/Total Solar Eclipse and is a perfect time to break free of the old. Apparently our material, spiritual and intellectual journeys are each beckoning us. Tickets and visas are not necessary, nor schedules or agendas, just a handful of change.
The #1 card of the Tarot is called The Fool. Some Tarot card-readers call it out as representing folly, others see in it a bold leap into the way blue yonder. It depicts a carefree one, setting out on a happy journey and stepping forward over an elevated edge confidently without needing even to look down. I call it God.
No doubt we will be moved out of our comfort zone yet we are all more capable than we think we are when push comes to shove. If you are aligned with your true self – by going back to the earliest, most authentic, version of your self and then moving forward uncaring of your redundant personal history and its accumulated ex-’s and haters – then your travels sometimes will be effortlessly successful as you have now done all the work necessary for your reward: powerful clarity of vision including a new perception of your resources and how they might become unexpectedly expanded.
Everything points to investment in your self so use the time between now and Mercury’s return to directness in May to relax and mull what could be an exceedingly excellent future.
But what of the maniacs who write the scripts for world affairs? Hysteresis (personally I’d prefer ‘historisis’) is the dependency of the condition of any system on past events. Is a New Social Hysteresis being concocted, a rewrite of the past data to fit a future which our inhumane ‘reverse leadership’ would drag us back to … feudal times but with AI lords and militaristic mastiffs? The stars do not favour this, just the opposite. They favour you and your individual inclinations.
Sometimes discretion is of primary importance so take what you will from my words. Make them go the way you need them to go. This long astrological springboard of 2024 may keep us flying for the next 14 years. Enjoy the Spring.
